We have two Coleman Director style chairs. However, if we are planning to visit especially scenic campgrounds, we leave the chairs behind and take our "Tailgating Hammock Chairs" that we got from Overstock.com. Sometimes we get a back-in spot with a killer beach, scenic view or just hang around near the fire pit.

Tiki Hut - I almost fell asleep imagining how relaxing that must be. Found that overstock.com had them for sale at $199.99 versus the retail price of $320.00. Claims to collapse into 3 parts. Interesting!

The hammock chairs are very comfy. Each one has an inflatable head rest, foot rest and cup holder.

If you look at my pix, you can see some bolts about halfway up the support. The two curved upper tubes unbolt from the lower support with the supplied allen set wrench. Each chair comes in its own storage bag. $199 was the cheapest I could find.

Have to recheck all the tips here as Dick's chair bit the dust this past weekend camping. Hate when the chair is less than a year old and falls apart.

Anne,

Is that the second chair? I remember you had the Coleman director chairs last year and new chairs this year.

The Coleman ones last year we had the rivets break on them, Fleet Farm refunded us our money on them. 1 of the new ones we had gotten last fall bit the dust. We where camping this weekend and had some terrific winds on Thurs and our 10x10 canopy was twisted beyond repair. So we came home alot lighter than when we left, but did help fill up the dumpster at the campground.
