We have been using the fold up canvas type which slips (*@#%& - well it is supposed to) into the baggy for travel. Noticed at the B social that no one had exactly the same type as the others. We are space challenged as well.
I have a folding canvas rocking chair. I like it because it has a higer back so I can tilt back and look at the stars at night.

I have a simple fold up bag chair with one cup holder which is stored behind my driver's seat. Since I also like to have my zero-gravity recliner chair I also take it along and I bungee it to the back of the passenger seat and it isn't in the way of getting in and out the sliding side door either.
Last weekend hubby wanted his new chair and we put it beneath the bed - it is an extrememly light-weight Coleman aluminum director's chair with a little side table with a cup holder that folds up and down. I really like that chair so I might buy one for myself and get rid of the bag chair. ($50 at Bass Pro Shop)

You should replace your "space challenged" luxurious booth dinette with a giant storage cabinet and then you'd be left with a sofa just like the rest of us.
We have a 2003 Roadtrek 190 and use two folding lawn type chairs (don't know the brand). One chair fits behind the drivers' seat and the other chair fits underneath the bed. We leave the bed made up permantly.
We bought the folding canvas type chairs last year, but, we find the lawn chairs a bit more cofortable and easier to store.
Coleman folding director's chair without side table. I can carry two folded under one half of the dinette table. Very comfortable and durable chairs too.

I dont know what brand of chair we have but they are a larger version of the regular folding in a bag type. They are really comforable and have a higher back than the regular version of the chair. They fit nicely on the floor between our beds in back of DABEE. By the way they did come in a bag but dont bother to even try to put them back in the bag.
