I always try to find a cheap solution, even making my own before shelling out money.
I looked at the C's dash vent and the dash vent next to the driver is vertical so that might be out.
I'll check target and maybe I'll get lucky.

I found on online that uses a cupholder but that would be out as out of my three cupholders, two are taken by my coffee mugs and one by the human navigator
I can't use the windshield suction mount as it puts the garmin too far away to reach
Beanbag might be the best way as it can be slid over to the passenger for changes in programming esp during areas where two hands are needed on the wheel.
I have my Magellan mounted on a Bracketron permanent bracket that is attached on the side of the slot the radio in located in. I also have a permanent antenna on the roof of the truck. I ran all the wiring (permanent power, antenna cable and the Traffic antenna cable through a hole in the dashboard. Look at www.bracketron.com, they make all kinds of mounts.
