We have a small TT.(Purchased it when we thought our family was complete) Now we have a darling 9 month baby boy to go with our 7 yo DD. My question is- has anyone let their baby sleep on the dinette bed-there is no room to set up his pack and play. Just a question let me know -Thanks

For my GS who is 1 year plus 3 months We had his play pen where the dinette was, took the table out and use that area for his play pen. For DD in her younger years, aprox 2, we had her sleep on the couch with a bed rail under the cushions. I also had a bad habit of allowing her to sleep with me, on rain nights or cooler nights when we camped in the spring and fall. I am sure the dinette would be no different from the couch in a PUP, I would put a bed rail on.

The outdoors is a wonderful place to be....

we have a 7 month old to go with our 5 and 6 year old. The wife and I have the baby sleep inbetween us. We are also going to drop the table and remove the cusions and put the pack and play on top of the table area.

our 4 month old DS sleeps next to us on the folded down dinette. We use one of those things with a wedge on wach side to leep him from rolling away. Your almost to crawling age though. Were figuring on a set of bed rails from wal-mart when he gets to that point.

We use a Pea Pod portable bed. Bought it on eBay. Folds up very small when not in use.

I bought a smaller pack and play for my little one when he was younger. It fit in our tent (well our big one would have fit too...) I bet it would fit where your dinette table goes... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2624760 you don't need one that fancy but it was the quickest link I could find. I am in the process of buying a TT to upgrade from the tent and many of the floor plans I have looked at will fit this in it.

We took our son camping at 3 months old and put the bassinette on the dinette. When he out grew the bassinette we used the pack n play set up on the folded down dinette. Our son is now two and he just sleeps in a sleeping bag on the dinette bed and our 4 month old daughter sleeps in the bassinette next to him. When she moves to the pack n play our son will move to the sofa. It takes a little coordination but it works for us.
