We are the latest caretakers of a 1967 Mobile Scout 12 foot camper.

Notes on the saga are here and feel free to offer input or suggestions. I may ignore all of them, but hey, I said feel free to OFFER.

Very cool trailer and in great shape considering the age. I see you installed a 10K AC, I bet you can make ice cubes on the counter. Enjoy it and put some miles on those new tires!!!

Our plan is to stay near home, Army Corp & Natl Parks etc, near Atlanta. Fuel costs prohibit going further (this year).

Some of the CGs had to fell many trees, pine beetles and such, so sometimes you do not get a shady location. In reading recommendations here and other places, I opted for the 10K to make up for lack of quality insulation and fighting GA summer heat, but moreso, to use it as an outdoor meatlocker here at the homestead. I believe I had the windows frosted up last night.
