Went camping at one of our favorite campgrounds,near Meadville PA.,Got there about 1:00 on Fri.,great weather,good food,nice campfire ,got up Sat.,nice day,a little cloudy,kinda warm (78)went looking at some other CGs not to far away,near another Lake,came back and grilled supper with some friends,started to rain lightly......turned local TV on the weather and SEVERE STORMS in the area,we knew all day they may be coming,then the TV said a funnel cloud was spotted 11 mis. south of us heading towards us....then about 3 Fire Trucks came in the CG and went camp to camp notifying everyone about the possible tornado,meanwhile it's pouring bigtime....it all blew over in about an hour and the funnel cloud never actually touched down,no damage anywhere and Sun.was sunny and nice so all and all a great weekend........but it was a little hairy for awhile.....the bathrooms were only about 30yds. away and we were ready to go if we had to,just like others had said to on the forum but didn't have to.

Glad you all were safe. We were camping in Front Royal VA this weekend and both Fri and Sat night we had storms with high winds and hail! This weather is so crazy.
