The campground where I'm staying has every amenity that I could ask for (wifi, beautiful, clean laundry, stream running though property, beautifully landscaped, attentive, caring owners, etc) and sets an example for others to emulate. Monthly rates are low and include electric and a full cable lineup. Every Saturday there is a get together (this past week was a pig roast and pot luck) and every day there is an afternoon "tea" where those who are interested gather and swap stories. Add to all this the fact that the weather is in the 80s during the day and low 50s at night with low humidity and it is great. Additionally, there are no children as this is an adult only park. With the exception of my wife and I and a couple others, all the people here return year after year for the summer. Within 75 miles are all the sightseeing you could possible want. Plenty of golf course within this radius for me to enjoy.

I'd mention the name of this place, but I don't want to give away my "secret". I will say that it is in western Colorado off highway 50 and is the only CG in the town or within about 15 miles. I'm sure that will allow some to figure out where I am.

I've never stayed at a place that so much met my requirements and wishes for a CG.

Heaven, if only we could all be so lucky. I found directions but I understand there's a gate keeper who is fussy. Know any back ways in?

I'd probably call it RVing, but does it really matter? Sounds like they found a place to enjoy. We have been to a couple of places that seem similar and also to a couple COE CGs. We love them both for different reasons.

I'll be tracking down the name of that place Dennis. Someday we'll get to CO and this is the kinda place we'd love to visit.

Camping is tenting, sleeping under the open skies, boondocking or the like. What you - and I - do is not camping, nor do I intend to insult those who actually do camp.
