OK, I have a 5 watt "battery Saver Pro" that I bought from Campworld a looooong time ago. It comes with a set of clamps to hook to the battery. In the advertisement it says its a 12 volt trickle charger (never used it). QUESTION: Can I hook it to (2) six volt batteries to charge the set of 4 or should I put it back in the storage room where its been all of this time?
Thanks for putting up with my "short circuit" brain.

You really don't need it, as long as your solar panel is connected and sees some sun. The trickle charger does the same thing as the solar panel, but it works only when you're plugged in to shore power, or running the on-board generator (if you have one). In those instances, your on-board converter / charger will keep the batteries charged.
You might want to use the trickle charger to keep your chassis battery charged when you're not using the MH for a couple of weeks or more. There are devices that will use coach power to do this, but you probably don't have one of them installed.
