Just about any Florida State park is good for bike riding, the whole state is as flat as a pool table with few exceptions after all. Oleno, Paynes Prairie, Manatee Springs, Ft Clinch, Anastasia (if you like St Augustine) and probably 120 out of the 167 total.

The best bike ride we took tho was getting a ride up to the top of the RMNP and coasting back down...wooooeee great ride. Had to worry about the wheels coming off tho.

Jekyll Island, Georgia. There are bike/walking paths all around the island. We've never stayed at the campground there, though, so can't say how it is.

James Island COUNTY park is outside Charleston SC. Flat, plenty of bike trails.

Huntington Beach State Park in SC has some good bike riding.

Hilton Head SC has good bike trails. You can also ride your bike on the beach. We really enjoy this area.

We just got back from Hickory Run State Park in White Haven PA (I know that it isn't one of your requested states). There is a rails to trails run from White Haven to Jim Thorpe PA, it is in the Lehigh Gorge State Park. My son and I did it last Tuesday, 26 miles all "downhill" (2% grade) on crush and run with only one road crossing. We did it for free because my wife didn't want to ride it this time, she dropped us off at the top and picked us up at the bottom. But there are a few companies in the area that will haul you to the top for a fee.

It is a beautiful ride and is a very easy one to do. I would like to do it again when the leaves have changed. If you make it that far north I would
highly recommend the trail.

We did that too, it really was great!! We are not really a family that bikes alot, so I really thought we wouldn't enjoy, the kids weren't too interested in doing it, but once we started we couldn't get them off.

I really am hoping to go back there again this fall too.

Here's the website for Rails to Trails. It should help you locate a place to ride your bikes.
