Have had one in our home for over 12 years now and LOVE IT!!!!

We put one in the MH and it took less than 45 minutes to completely set it up! It is a little "different" than the home unit, one thing is that the home unit is a HUGE KING SIZE bed so there is a lot of room to roll around. The short queen is NOT a very comfortable "size" bed whether Select Comfort or standard mattress! However, the Select Comfort IS 1000% better than the matress we replaced!!!!!

Did you just drill a hole to run the tubes thru?

And the electrical cord?

We have had a sleep number in the last two MHs and really like it, if you have an outlet someplace next to the bed you will need to drill a whole for the electrical in the side and a whole in the bed base for the air tubes. We found those small bar of soap holders at Bed and Bath, attached one on each side of the bed to hold the controls, they work great. Have been in the mountains several times and have not had any problems.

Happy RVing

We have the Select Comfort "California" king bed in the motorhome (don't know the number). For those that don't know the California king from the Eastern king... the C-K is a little narrower than an Eastern king but longer.

After having the Select Comfort in the motorhome for a year, the left controller was giving me gibberish. I called Select Comfort and they said that they would replace the unit for free. The bed carries a 2 yr. free warranty and after that, there is a limit as the years go by.

Select Comfort sent me a new motor with controllers and I installed it in about an hour (very slowly) as I'm not the most mechanical. It all worked out just fine.

I was very pleased with Select Comfort's customer service (no-Indian-hard-to-understand-accents).... a true American on the other end of the phone!

Also, no questions asked about my problem.... they sent the new unit and requested that I send back the defective unit.

You will love the bed.

Have the rv bed. Took about half and hour to install. Had one problem and Select Comfort replaced the defective piece, without question. DW and I would not have any other bed after sleeping on this one. We lower each side to 20 before hitting the road. One time we did not and went up to the 7,000 foot level and the bed turned into a balloon. Ever since then, part of our departure checklist is to set the bed to 20.

Of course, they don't say how much to deflate it, and they don't define "high altitude." Around here, 1,000 feet is a tall mountain, while someone in the Rockies would scoff at that and barely consider it a hill worth mentioning.
Very true, in fact most of CO is higher than most mountains back east, then you get to the actual mountains.

Our coach came with a Select Comfort king and we love it. If you install one be sure to connect the pump so that it will work if you are "Walmarting" overnight.

Leaving for Colorado on Saturday with a deflated bed.

Replaced a VERY bad bed in our first Winnebago with the Sleep Comfort. EASY to do and bed setup itself took less than 30 minutes. Had to drill a couple of small holes to run hoses and plug into bedside outlet. Turn on, inflate while laying on it and DONE.
