I too have a 2003 Rage'n 30-5G. The night stands pull away from the wall when the weight is on the kingpin. So far the gap is only about 1/4 inch max. The bed hinge looks good so far.

The damage you are seeing my not be a "Pin Box" issue. I have a 2006 FA 3405 (aluminum side) and was seeing the same thing with the night stands. Plus, one of the bedrooms interior walls had a 6 inch horizontal crack that started at the edge of the bedroom window and most of the corners in the bedroom were spreading apart.
Anyway, I took my trailer down there and told them about the pin box concern. I was told that prior to the 2007 models, they would only screw the walls down into the frame. This caused some "flex" in the walls, which they told me caused anchor bolts to break off or the walls base board to crack. They now, I mean were, welding a large piece of angle iron to the frame, so they could drill both down into the frame and in from the side of the angle iron. They said this really increased the rigidness of the walls and since doing that, have not had any reports of similar types of damage.
Unforunatlly this was no small job, they had to completly remove the entire front bedroom of the trailer to expose the frame to were it begins to angle down. They then welded the angle iron to the frame and put it all back together. I have only had the trailer out twice since the repair (4/2008) and every thing seems to be holding together........for now anyway.
This is just something else you should look into.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check the walls for any cracks.

Is this repair/fix something the local dealership can do? How much did the gusseting cost?

Thanks,
Chris

Mine was also repaired with the gusset at Ragen, covered under warranty. A year later and no issues with the nightstands or cabinets.

Reading this explains why they took the siding off one side when I took it in for warranty work at Rage'n. Guess they might have fixed it?

Does anyone have any pics of all thses repairs, I have some movement in nite stands about 1/4 inch off wall at center sides when hooked up and flush to wall when un hooked, I must have a little frame flex, Does anybody know if they have these trailors engineered or can they just wing it? I would like to know who engineered my 5th wheel frame and fiberglass wall connections? Thanks, Coby.
