IV got a very simple desert that is quick and easy to make.
1 Large package Orange Flavor Jello.
1 Package Cool Whip
1 Large Cottage Cheese Large Curd type
2 Large cans Mandarin Orange Slices Well drained.

Mix the Cool Whip and Cottage Cheese together in a large bowl.
Add the Orange Jello dry. Mix thorughly.
Add the Manderian Oranges and blend in throughly.
Let stand in fridge for about one hour.

Sounds tasty.
(FYI: It's dessert with two s's.)

I add a can of pineapple chunks to this recipe. PS: It can be made with any flavor of Jello. I've tried all kinds, even blue!

take a whole bannana slice down one side all the way in,open up just enough to stuff chocolate, place on grill till chocolate melts and skin turns black.all you need is a spoon enjoy right out of the skin,or dump on ice cream if you want to get crazy!

That almost sounds like one of my favorites, but never tried mixing Dry Jello.

I use small curd CC, crushed pineapple and lime Jello. I sometimes mix Cool Whip with only half of mixture to use as a top layer.

I use a small box of strawberry jello and pack of frozen (thawed) strawberries (drained) when I make this recipe; along with a regular size container of Cool Whip and the small curd cottage cheese. Then I fold in a handful of chopped walnuts (finishing it with larger pieces of the nuts on top for garnish). This is the coolest recipe b/c there's no measuring.

Yes. Drain the oranges as best as possible.
I went back and added the draining part.
Thank you for pointing that out.
Im sorry I forgot to mention that.
I made the mistake and forgot to drain the liquid and it was rather runny.

As for the size of the Cool WHip, I usually use the largest store brand.
It works as well as the Cool Whip.

why is it that anything made with cottage cheese just sounds so gross? something about curled milk added to anything....blah...ok, it's just me, can't bring myself to eat that stuff.
Can I make the recipe without it and still have a simple good dessert?
