Celebrating 25th anniversary in September. Wife refuses to fly so I am going to rent a Class C (we have a hybrid but want to try out a Class C)
Any suggestions for a nice place to go? We are in NYC. I was thinking maybe Fort Wildnerness or maybe Myrtle Beach (we have never been to Myrtle),
Thanks.

pcasey250. Try Huntington Beach SP in Murrell's Inlet, SC. It's about 15 miles south of Myrtle Beach.

The other year on our 25th, my wife and I really enjoyed Caneel Bay Resort on St. Johns, Virgin Islands. She also don't like flying but now she is glad she did.

Does she like camping in the woods or would rather be in a resort? This makes a great difference in what you are looking for.

Have a great time camping,

A trip to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC can be very romantic. We did a little road trip down there when we first started dating.

September is a great time to go to Myrtle Beach.(as long as Hurricanes don't intrude) The water is still warm and the crowds are fewer. We like Ocean Lakes because there is plenty to do right at the CG. You can get info and discounts for places to see and do right at the CG. Myrtle Beach has great restaurants and nightly entertainment.

Don't like the view?? Then change it and Go Camping

Normandy Farms in Foxboro, Mass. would have my vote. It's a beautiful resort close to Boston and Cape Cod. I was there last week to celebrate my boyfriend's 50th birthday and we were absolutely thrilled with our choice. Check out their website - it's loaded with pictures.
