Heading out in a few weeks for a 13 day trip to Lake Tahoe and I don’t usually concern myself with the carpet but … 13 days is a long time. What brand on cordless hand held vacuums do you use? Need something to address sand and dog hair.

Use rugs and shake them out. It may become a losing battle!

We have carpeting on the stairs, put a loose rug inside the door, AND take our shoes off at the door. Lots of luck with the dog.

We use area rugs and shake them out and sweep with broom, I have to do it every day, but that's life! Then I just throw them in the washer when we get home. We don't have any permanently attached carpet in our camper.

We use throw rugs. And wife has a stick vac. I also Scotch Guard every year.

Do you have carpet throughout your camper?
We use area rugs as well. DW bought a small hand held vacuum and we use swiffers to mop the rest.

The 21SS has a carpeted area that's part of the slide. Carpet is a hassle, rugs can at least be shaken out. My dogs bring in too much trash on their fur to have rugs down too many times.

A few days into the trip just don't look down We don't have carpet but use a few throw rugs and take off our shoes (per DW  )
