Seriously though. As many dogs that are found in CGs it is rare that management would restrict certain breeds. For me it is more about barking dogs than biting dogs.

If they are going to ban certain breeds, it should be stated on the website.
Scott, I'm with you. Barking dogs bother me A LOT more than biting. At least you can stay away from biting dogs.

It states that they welcome dogs of all sizes, maybe they should add, just not all breeds. We really want you to come, maybe you could do what they did in 101 Dalmations, paint her- all golden since she is really a lab mix!!!
RoseMary asked # of adults, # of kids, and if I had a dog.
I told not 100% sure on the count of kid's and my dog was a mix.
She asked what kind and as soon as I said she looks like a rottie, but is really more lab, all negotiations were off. I told her if I dyed her all black you'd never know she was a rottie, still no go.
The last thing I would need is to get there, and for some reason, be asked to leave.
I also mentioned there is nothing indicating a restriction (I wanted to say prejudice) against certain deemed aggressive breeds, and that since most of the group has already booked not knowing this, it puts me in a bad position. She was to the point that our dog in not welcome, which to me is like saying you can come, but a member of your family can't.
Anyway, I can always be there in spirit, like Jay was at Killen's. It's way to far in advance for me to see if a neighbor is willing to watch her. I'll also see if I can find a kennel with a more reasonable rate then the one I am planning to use when we go to Disney.
Well my oldest and I are getting ready to head to Maine tomorrow, so I'll probably be offline for the next 10 days. I'm part of the adult leadership for our youth group's mission trip, re-habing homes for those less fortunate.
Today is the only day that you can use to take steps towards the great future you see. Yesterday is gone forever and tomorrow never comes, it’s always today.

My son is here to watch him so we don't have to bring him with us. I never thought to let a campground know ahead of time that we were bringing a dog with us. Why don't you try to make the reservation and not mention the dog
They always ask me about pets. Some charge a few bucks per, but we bought the TT so we could go go go. We can't kennel the dogs, it's just too expensive and the kennels near us have a fairly bad rep. Last time I kenneled a dog, she came home with mits and a huge rash. Will never kennel again if I can at all help it. I used to have a neice who could house sit, but she's coming up on 21 and in a serious relationship, so she's not as accessible as she used to be. So if we go, the dogs go.

Personally, I think if the dog as all it's shots and it is with the family, the breed shouldn't matter. If you follow the rules to the letter, all dogs should be leashed, so if it's a problematic dog....make the owner leash.
We're guilty of not always leashing our pups unless there are "nazi" camp hosts, they try to go off site, or they seem to be disturbing someone. But we try very hard to be respectful of others with the dogs and the leashes are always close by if needed.
