Hmmmm?
I have always been able to ask for a site whether it is a freebie for their Emergency Services Weekend or when I am making a regular reservation.

I guess they'll cater to the needs if it involves having a cop on premises. We civvies have to fend for ourselves and hope for the best.
Cheers!

Has anyone cancelled their Rambin' Pines? I don't have my info!!! Arg! Anyone mention about the dog policy when cancelling? Just asking. I don't mind losing a few bucks to be with friends at another place that will cater to dogs.

Yes, I canceled. You really don't need the info, just your last name. They can look up the rest. And YES, I mentioned it was because of their dog/insurance policy. I even suggested it might behoove them to pay the few extra bucks to get ALL dogs on their policy or they will continue to lose business.

Oh yes...
I am a real 'presence' when I am camping.
Let's compare rates.
Yep. I pay the same.
Yep. No hot tub on my site.

And BTW, (for Chris' benefit since USCGFamily already works it) you too get a free weekend when they finally decide which weekend it is. They never know until later in the year for the following year.

Well, I can take my machete and work my way out the back to Chris' site.
I'll let Max figure out a direct route.

Far be it from me to be a PITA-however I am having a hard time booking a site. I called the other day-left a message, no one called me back. Then yesterday I made a reservation online--I have not gotten a confirmation from them, I just tried calling the campground again, the phone rings once and then that is it. Any suggestions????
