The weather was ugly enough on radar to make me take down my tacky lights, roll up the awning and put everything else under cover. I had not done that all the last 12 days despite the weather.

The nasty storms tracked SE and excepting about 5 minutes of serious wind (several awnings without straps did start to float away) and evil looking skies nothing materialized here.

Not that it matters with so much else going on but my reservation is cancelled for this, less a $10 fee. It is a racket!

We will be at Eagles Peak for a week instead. Big site, no stored RVs and they allow dogs. Shady Maple and Green Dragon are close enough as well.

total bummer! This one is so close to hme for us--45 minutes. We found the staff to be nice, the facilities to be just fine and they didn't have any problems with our two shelties...I'm sorry others are having problems here.

Scott,
You should write these people and tell them the real story. There is a contact us link there for that website.

I already did.

Like much on the Internet, the info is nebulous and often not researched.

I am sure Ramblin' Pines would still suggest they are 'dog friendly', just not for specfic breeds.

If only they had said Friendly Dog site, we'd all know Sheena and Max fit that bill.
