harvestmoon, Great picture log. Is the current heat anything like summer in Florida or East Texas? How are the summer/fall (wet season) bugs?
Thanks,

I'm not harvestmoon but I live just down the coast from her. I'm finding it pleasant as long as you have an ocean breeze. It's hot in the afternoons when the breeze dies or when you are blocked by buildings. Right now, it's dusk and it is very comfortable, high 70's to low 80's. It's humid but it has not been anywhere near as hot or as humid as my experiences with Houston or New Orleans in the summer. The humidity seems to build up and then there is a rain and thunderstorm and it is very cool and fresh and the cycle starts again.

I was driving around in the city today, Playa del Carmen, and I don't have AC in my jeep. I would get sweaty at stop lights but cool off once I was moving. Shade is important, and trying to run errands before or after the mid afternoon doldrums.

**oh, and my main problem with insects right now is with ants, every conceivable kind and size of ant seems to want to move inside. I think being on the 3rd floor helps with some bug problems, but having an exterminator helps too. I need to get on that one for the ants.

Thank you Jonna. Yesterday 102 here in So. AZ. before monsoonal clouds built in the late afternoon. Then the rains let loose and temp dropped into the 70's. Slept last night without AC, but everything is on this morning. Same cycle nearly everyday. Sounds kind of like what you go thu but your temp is not as high. Bugs we have them all during monsoon season. Stay in the screened porch or spray to go outside. No bugs in dry season when the snowbirds are here. Thanks again.
