Hello,
I will be leaving for our trip to Utah and would like to know one thing. Which location Marysvale or Big Rock Candy Mountain has more trails leading out of it or has faster easiest access to the Paiute trails. Are they both about equal? Is one much better than another?
I know I should have been asking this question long ago but, here it is. Thanks for any assistance.

Marysville is more central located. This is where we stay and have never stayed at Candy Mountain. There are trails leaving all around Marysville.

Rock Candy is nicer and the feeder trail to the Paiute is incredible. It starts across the street from Hoovers and follows dear creek. Snow should be clear now on the upper elevations but check in here to be sure: www.atvutah.com.

I think you may have quicker access from Marysvale, but they both offer good access. The trail coming behind BRCM I think was 78 - it was pretty narrow and had several river crossings, very scenic trail but slow. Heading the other way its all sage brush and you move along fast. I think both have good points.

Left Big Rock Candy Mountain last Friday, spent a week there. Both of the passes are closed and not expected to open until the fist week of July. Marysvale has better access to the trails right now to the eastern side of the loop. BRCM has access to the trails on the western side because of the pass closures.
