I don't know if one exists, but I am looking for a campground within approximately a two hour drive of Annapolis, Maryland for a group camping trip. I'm looking for a campground that offers a variety of accomondations (Including; Tent, RV & Cabins) PLUS boat slips. So more than likely the campground would have to be located on the Chesapeake Bay or one of its tributaries.

In the past we have always held our gatherings at Drummerboy in Gettysburg, PA. They have a host of accomondations that have served us perfectly, but I wanted to see if I could open it up to our members that are boaters as well.

If anyone has a recommendation I'd appreciate hearing. Thanks.

Elk Neck State Park would seem to fit the bill.

I believe Elk Neck has a boat ramp, but I don't think they have boat slips for those arriving by water to dock and stay on their boats for the weekend. But I will double check, thanks for the suggestion.

As you can see - pickings are slim

The new place Castaways meets all of your criteria, except possibly the boat slips. But I think it had boat slips when it was Eagles Nest so maybe they kept them when they did the renovation.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

You can try Frontier Town Camp Ground in Ocean City MD, that is just about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs away, and they have a FEW Sites that have boat slips right at the RV. Those sites sell out fast so you need to get in early !!!

No good leads for you, but I would caution finding something that doesn't involve having to cross the Chesapeake Bridge (like Ocean City, MD).

I think Point Lookout State Park has campsites, cabins; and Green's loop there has boat slips as well.

Good Luck and Happy Camping

The old Ealges Nest, now Castaways (near Ocean City) has boat ramps. We go there last week in July. Anxious to see the improvements as they were greatly needed.

I don't like the place, but Beth Page down in Urbanna, VA may fit the bill. They have a marina on the CG. It's just about at your 2 hour limit.
