My 2009 Ragen was delivered to the dealer with the water tank not being able to pump water from the 150 gal water tank. The pump would run but only air would come out of the faucets. My dealer tried to fix it thinking that the vent and pickup lines were reversed but this didn't work. I had a camping trip planned with full hookups so I took my trailer and returned it for repair after the weekend. My trailer has been at the dealer for 3 weeks and today I got a call from the dealer who said that Weekend Warrior wouldn't pay any dealers for warranty work, all warranty work would need to be done at the factory. I read horror stories about people who had their National RV motorhomes at National for warranty work when they went bankrupt and they couldn't get their motorhomes off the property.I can't get anyone to answer the phone at Weekend Warrior. Any advice?

More than likely the dealer doesn't want to get paid what Rage'n/WW will pay for the reapair and are just trying get you to get the trailer off their lot!!
Rage'n/WW has said they will not be doing anymore service/warranty work at their plants. Call Ragen'n/WW and ask them what is going on, keep trying, get the operator on the phone and tell het what is going on..

3 of Weekend Warriors top execs just resigned, sounds like it is the manufacturer not the dealer as stated by derwud!!!

Call Rage'n directly. Dealers generally suck as evidenced by your 3 week escapade. I always take my trailer straight to Rage'n in Riverside. They have always been STELLAR when it comes to service. they actually know what the word means!!!

I think you need to take this matter rather seriously and contact a few people, the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. Your attorney to find out if you bring the trailer back to Weekend Warrior what would happen if the company went out of business or bankrupt while the trailer sat there waiting for repairs...would you be able to get your unit back or would it be held up in a long drawn out legal battle. I would think reporting your unit to the local police and your insurance company would certainly constitute being able to get it back without too much problem, but I've heard of similar horror stories and it isn't worth risking losing your RV.
The other side of it is that you bought the trailer from the dealer and they represent they should make all needed repairs and handle getting paid or not getting paid from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, I see their side of it, but they aren't building good will with their customers by telling them to take it to the manufacturer...particularly if you aren't located too close to that manufacturer.
The simple answer is this, handle the repairs yourself and learn from this...sometimes we need to have a good understanding of who we're buying from, not just the dealer, but also the manufacturer and their financial security.
Another thought might be to contact your dealer and see if it's too late to add an aftermarket warranty that would pay any and all claims...this will cost you some cash, but it will give you extended coverage and give you piece of mind.
Good luck!

I had an appointment with Giant RV today for warranty, when I got there they informed me that they were told yesterday by WW that they are not doing any warranty repairs for 90 days, and all repairs would be performed by Weekend Warrior. Sure would have been nice to hear from Giant RV yesterday as opposed to driving 60 miles there just to have to come back. I did get ahold of someone at warrior who told me that the 1st available appointment would be on 9/24. When asked about reasoning, I was told they are holding off warranty repairs for 90 days to try to save the company.... Good luck!!!

I don't think this is the dealer playing games...I've heard this a few times...it's a tough situation to be in from all angles. Just do your best to get your unit covered some how and make sure you take care of your unit.

I talked to Weekend Warrior today and was told the same thing, about not reimbursing Dealers for warranty work at this point, maybe in 90 days as the owner of Weekend Warrior is trying to sell the business.
