Thanks for the input. Sounds like some companies try to go both ways. Guess I'll go and get an estimate and go from there. I don't think this fix is more than $500.
I don't recall the tire brand, I'll have to go look again. I may look into changing companies; I have State Farm on all of my vehicles, but Jayco offered American Modern as reputable 5 years ago when we purchased the 5th wheel. I've heard people say to always go with an insurance company that specializes in rv insurance. Not sure how completely true this is but I'm sure there's probably some subjectivity there somewhere.....
Have had several GY's go on ours over the past 8 yrs with this 5ver. GY has paid each and every time for the tire and 5ver damage. Always involved a GY owned (Wingedfoot) store and they took care of everything.
