I have a Rockwood 2501ss and am looking for some type of bunkbed rail to keep my 3 year old from falling out of the top bunk. I could make one out of 1x2's, but I would rather just by something. Thanks

I feel for you. Our son fell out of the top bunk the first night we had the tt. We went to some chain store and bought a rail but it was to hard to install and then hard for him to get out of bed in the night to use the restroom. Until he got older, he slept on the bottom bunk or the couch.

Wish someone would come up with a good one for tt's.

We just use one of the ones from the kids stick house beds... it just slips under the mattress and their weight keeps it in place. Some people screw theirs down to either an extra sheet of plywood or the plywood of the bunk.

Thats what I am looking for the kind that slips under the mattress. What is a kids stick house bed? Is that a play set or something?

Toys r us carries the railing. Stick house is just your regular house.

We got a couple of toddler bed rails that were hand me downs that work well. They just slip right under the mattress. We also botthis one from Target. It's OK and does the job but is a little too tall for our top bunk. The same website has a bunch of other ones, all for under $30 that might work well for you.

Babies R' US or Toys R US are good options, we have one that has (2) metal/fabric rails with a mesh strap under the pad that keeps the two sides together. The straps can be brought out for a twin to a double sized bed and ratchet in/out.

We bought it at Babies R' US.

We have a rail that slides under the bed as well. We picked up ours at a children's second hand store for five dollars.

We got ours at Walmart $19.99. It slips under the mattress.
