I agree with all the above.
Just a question though. why do the manuf. find it necessary to use thirds as a means to give you the levels? by the time it reads 2/3 it will be almost full!
Our first 2 TT`s had the levels in quarters. it was nice because when it got to 3/4 you knew to start watching things. you didn`t have to sit there and watch the 2/3-full LED light up!!! we`ve had our current TT 2 1/2 years and I still can`t tell when the tank is almost full!

All my sensors, even the battery power, reads in quarter incriments.

I've wondered that for a while. Guess 3 little lights are cheaper than 4.

Jeez I just turn off the water, grab a flashlight(real tight) and have a peak down the trap. Spent two hours last night flushing and wanding the tanks on our new to us '07 KZ2505 and they finally read empty.

I guess I need one of those CLEAR end pieces.I do have a flush spray, just need to use it longer?
Shum02 . . .2 hrs . . . that should do it!!! I just don't have that amount of patience.

We have the opposite problem in our TT our black tank always reads empty. Our trailer is under warranty is this something that we should have looked at? We have an enclosed underbelly, so how do they access the black tank to check the sensor?
We love to get away in our new TT

We just tried this when we left Stone Mountain GA and went to Coneross campground in SC last week. Our sensors had been reading full even after dumping. We put 10gallons water and 10lbs of ice after dumping in Stone Mountain and upon reaching Coneross hit the dump station before getting into our site. After unhitching and leveling I checked the sensors and they read empty. We will try and do this a couple times a year.

Give your sensors a good "wash"
Toss in a couple of bucket fulls of water, 1 capful of calgon and 1 capful of Tide laundry detergent.
Drive around for awhile and let is agitate. Dump, rinse.
You could have TP stuck on a sensor and/or they could just plain be dirty. Have you ever seen wads of TP that kid wet and toss up to the ceiling? It's like cement and stays there forever....so you need lots of water and washing to release it.
Get a clear elbow so you could see what comes out when you dump and how clean your black tank really is - chances are if you see a lot of TP coming out that could have been the problem.
Refill, put in toilet enzyme/chemical and drive around a bit more. Anything left will come down and sit in the water and the enzyme/chemical will break it down while it sits.
Just before you leave on your next trip - add some water and do the Tide, Calgon thing and dump when you get to your campsite. Add some water/chemical back in and camp.
We follow the above for every trip (the tide/calgon before leaving home) and our sensors work accurately.
If after all of this, they still don't read empty then i'd say the sensors are faulty.
