Just going over some last minute items in my head before heading out to Myrtle Beach this weekend for a week of camping. I was thinking that there are several campgrounds there and they are usually full especially during the 4th, just wondering how many members on the east coast was heading in that direction.
We will be staying at Myrtle Beach Travel Park from the 28th to the 5th. Hopefully maybe see some of you there.

too early for us. We'll be in the mountains next week but Myrtle Beach TP is on the calendar for Oct/Nov.

We are.
Heading to Huntington Beach SP., only for the holiday weekend though. Hubby was layed off back in Jan (but thankfully got a job earlier this month), so when I booked I really didn't know what our situation was going to be like so only booked the weekend.
Kids are kind of disappointed that there is no long beach trip this yr (we usually stay atleast 8-9 days) but they'll get over it. Not looking forward to the traffic, but I'll be thinking about the nice relaxing beach all the way

We were in Myrtle Beach from the 7th to the 14th, during the heat wave that went up and down the East Coast. We stayed at the Willow Tree RV Resort. Had a good time except for the heat. OH Well! What can you do? Last year when I met my sister for our camping trip, we had snow (at Easter). This year we thought we'd be smart and wait till the kids were out of school and there's no way we'll have bad weather. NO! Heat wave! What will happen next year? Hurricane, wild fires, earthquakes? Kind of scary to consider!

We are leaving out tomorrow, Friday. We will be at Lakewood Sunday - Saturday. My oldest has a National Dance competition during the week.

We're at Pirateland now -- we will leave on Sat. 6/28 -- traffic is bad now so we usually don't stay during holidays.

We'll be at Pirateland on July 5th-12th.The place will be packed,it always is,as will be the whole Myrtle Beach area.We've done it for twenty years,wouldn't have it any other way.
