If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

Probably 4 down, unless you have a toad that cannot be towed 4 down or you are going to be towing different toads at different times. We tow a Kia Optima and if towed four down, the warranty would be voided. Therefore, we use a tow dolly. It is a bit of a pain but we almost always get a pull through site and don't have to unhook the dolly. We bought a folding dolly so if we do have to unhook, it can be stored under the rear of our coach. There is really no "best" way to tow, you just haveto do whatever is best for your particular situation.

We have an open 18 ft, car hauler. it tows the Corvette, which, for obvious reasons, can't be towned 4-down. We could have configured our Expedition for 4-down towing, but then we couldn't take the Vette. As Bob (above) said, it depends on what is best for your situation. We, too, have had no issues with rv park spaces. We'll call ahead to ensure they have a 65 foot pull through or I'll ask if there is a location to park and lock the trailer while were running around in either car. An enclosed trailer would keep the cars clean, however...for our financial situation, that wasn't an option.

There is no question as to which is better. All four wheels on the ground. The reason is because when you get into some RV parks there is no place to store the dolly or even worse a trailer. Done the dolly once and lost the car on the freeway, luckily it didn't hit anybody. And the trailer thing (forget it)

If you ever take the Garden State Parkway in NJ you can't use a dolly, but can tow 4 down.
