Anybody cancel Disney because of fuel prices ? Or, are you going this year instead of next because fuel could keep going up ? My family and I are considering this year instead of next because of fuel prices.... just looking for a reason to go. We love Disney.

We are planning to go 7000 miles this Summer with the RV, we have traveled 18,000 so far this year. We love it wilh all the traffic off the roads, it is easy, just make more money and go.

We are going this Christmas for 2 weeks, no matter what. We also have towed over 5,000 miles this Spring.

We didn't cancel our trip, just the plans to take the TT. We are staying with family instead.

It will cost us at least $700 in fuel to get to our winter spot in Florida.

Would I give up six months in Florida for that amount of money???

ROFLMAO!

Disney is an expensive venture in itself. The extra cost of fuel will be a non-issue for you in the big picture.

Nope! we just made resv. there for Nov. sure we could have flown but the difference in 4 round trip tickets and then a fuel surcharge and the possibility of cancellations make the choice of driving apparent.

Plus my kids will get to see the various beautiful scenery of some of the states! can`t do that from a plane.

Nope...made plans last year to go to Disney in October. We still plan on going. Like I tell everyone else, when you consider what air fare, hotel, and eating out every day would cost us, a family of five, it's still cheaper to take the MoHo. Can't wait! We'll just absorb the extra cost and put off some projects at home. The boys are only young once and you can't do it over. Plus...you can't take it with you, and I have yet to see a herse pulling a u-haul!

Price of gas - nearing $5.00

Driving hundreds miles - tiring

Christmas Holidays at Disney/Epcot - priceless

You and your children are only young one. Enjoy it while you can. Tomorrow may never come.
