HA! I get to ask a question. The last bit everytime I've had a question, you guys have already answered it. Many thanks. I couldn't find anything on this subject so... Yea... I get to ask a question. HA!
I'm looking for a provincial map (NB and NS)that would show where all the different campgrounds are. I've looked at Google maps, and a couple of tourism sites for NS and NB, but I don't trust the results. They show a campground in Oromocto that is actually in Mirimichi or one in New Glasgow that is actually in Truro.
We are planning a trip, with a specific route in mind.
Thanks for reading.

Since you are already in Nova Scotia, why not go to your local tourist office and ask for maps, and other related printed material. As for N.B. good luck as we have not had much success with them in the area of being helpful.

Thanks. I have all the campground information, I was looking for a map that would show where the campgrounds are in relation to each other, and specifically how far they are from a certain landmark.
I was hoping to get something online, but I might have to find an info booth and get some info from them.

Just another thought...contact Nova Scotia Parks Canada and ask for a map. We camphosted in NS for 12 weeks last summer and I know they have maps with all the Provincial Parks shown...

Well, I just went to GOOGLE EARTH. I typed in "campgrounds Canada." They started popping up all over the place. It showed them in relationship to each other, on a map. I'm sure if you play around with it and maybe use more creative search words, you probably can do better. That might help...
Admittedly, it's missing more that it found using "campgrounds Canada."
Works for Nova Scotia too.

Thanks for all the help. I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for, so I'm making my own. It's taking a bit of time to do it, but I'm able to put a little tent on a google map for all the different campgrounds that I'm interested in and then saving it as a "My Maps"

Try MapArt (www.mapart.com). I have a an Alberta Recreation Map from them that shows all the campgrounds in Alberta, they also show golf courses and ski-runs. Since MapArt are based in Ontario I would guess that they have these maps for other provinces.
Good luck
