We just stayed at Kings Creek (near Tropic Reservoir) and I don't remember if what times were the quiet times. If you go east of Tropic Reservoir they have seven dispersed campsites available. Some of them quite nice with streams running through them. If we go back next year we'll stay at one of the dispersed sites.

Some of you requested pictures of the Tropic Reservoir area. We were there last week

Thanks for the pics. I'm trying to recall if any of the campsites were near the water, I think they were all up a bit in the trees though. Anyone swim there?

We stayed there just 2 weeks ago. Loved it!! We will definately go back. Being able to ride to and from your actual camp site is money. I have a big set up and I was able to go into the camp grounds with no problems.

Yes you are able to swim in the resorvoir, and yes, the campground is a bit above the lake.
