Nope, we don't drain ours in between trips. The only time we drain is when we winterize.

We drink bottled water and just use the tank for showers and dishes. I think it's OK and "greener" not to drain. I always like to add a couple drops of bleach to the tank.

I don't drain it when I get back, but I will drain it before a trip if its sat more than a month. I do a sanitize the tank each spring, and use taste pure when ever I drain and fill.

We don't drain ours between trips either. Once a year we add a 1/4 cup of bleach to sanitize it and have never had any problems.

Same as others we do not drain fresh water tank between trips.
We do drain prior to the start of a new trip. I remove the filter cartridge when filling the fresh water tank. This assures all the chemicals that the water company adds stays in the water.
IMHO I feel the water will stay fresher longer.

Good luck and enjoy the journey.

We normally run with a 1/3 fresh water tank amount for toilet and washing hands, dishes. While in a campground, we use the local water supply.
REMEMBER - the more weight we carry, the less mpg. Learned this from full-timers!
