When I have a tripped breaker the easiest first fix is to replace the breakers. Simple not expensive.

Another possibility is a loose connection at the breaker. Feel the breaker, the next time it trips, and see if it's warmer that the other AC breaker.

Argent 1957: Buy a cheap Voltage meter.($6 or 7 bucks) and plug it into any outlet where you can always look at it. Mine is next to the front seat. You will like knowing your voltage. Leave it plugged in forever. TOM

I have two 13.5k BTU a/c's that run all day long on a 5.5 Kw Onan with no problems. Sounds like you have a problem with your front A/C.

I have two 13500 btu air units on mine with a 5500 onan marquis gold gen.I cannot use both my units while driving it kicks the breakers on the generator. So i only use one and it does get hot in the coach.Went to yellowstone last august out rt-90 it was 109 degrees im told you cant run both units at the same time with a 5500 gen when traveling.Maybe there is something wrong with mine

We have a 5500 and can run both airs all day long. No reason you shouldn't be able to run 2 airs on a 5500 watt generator. 5500 watts is somewhere around 45 amps. 2 airs both running/starting up at the same time will draw less than that. I think they draw 18-20 starting up and 15 or so running.

Since the rear works OK I suspect a loose connection my best guess would be at the transfer switch since you run fine on shore power.

If you know enough about your coach to find the transfer switch with the generator off & NOT plugged into shore power check for loose connections starting at the transfer switch.
