Seems like many are having problems with the new power awning being uses by A & E on the new TT's. We do not like ours either because the rain water does not drain off. Here are some pictures that might show why.

As you can see the roller is about 2 inches higher then the edge of the awning material. This seems to be causing a damming effect for the rain water. Ours has already started to stretch as you can see.
Something needs to be changed in the design of this awning. It needs to be able to be adjusted so that rain water can drain before someone gets hurt from a collapse.

I know nothing about the power awnings, as I have never looked at them...
my awning when open looks much the same as yours, when unrolled the seam is not at the top of the tube, and even less so if I put the legs down in the carport set-up... this has never caused a problem, but I always have enough of a angle to prevent pooling...
the sagging in the middle I think is pretty normal and is what makes angling the tube a must... otherwise the slope is all that would be needed...
I always thought the power awnings were designed to dump water if it started pooling...
is this a wrong assumption about them???
I sure don't like the new awning material they are using with their sunchaser model... it is laminated layers instead of the original type, (molded layers color clear through... they should be ashamed of the poor quality of their lamination process...

I have the same problem on my 2008 keystone sprinter. The water pools so much that the awning will not retract. I have to climb onto the picnic table and push the pool off. Also, I think this has caused the supports to warp and not retract all the way to the side of the trailer.

The awning on my Jayco 31E is a CareFree and automatically dips to drain water, then straightens back out.

Try retracting it just a little to tighten the fabric. Hopefully this works for you. If I extend mine all the way until the motor stops, it'll sag even dry, the moment I roll it back a little it stretches very nicely.

Don't roll the awning out so far. You want the seam about 11:00 o'clock instead of at 1:00 o'clock facing from the front. Having the seam towards the RV makes a V for water to gather in. You can also manually pull the rear side down with a rope, S hook and bungee cord to keep the dump feature (which doesn't seem to work very well) pull down. I would rather have a manual awning after having an electric.

This may seem to simple, but mine is under waranty right? So shouldn't I just take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it. And that it's not dumping water like it's supposed to.

that is exactly what I would do if it didn't work as advertised...
