Chris, has the wind died down over there on the shore ?? Rebecca and I were at Castaways over the weekend..and the wind was pretty wicked. As for the campground, I give it a big thumb's up

It's been windy all day, but it's beginning to die down now. Not enough for a chiminea fire, but it HAS eased off to the point where I'm not worried about the garbage cans blowing away like the last 48-hours. LOL
Castaways looks like a nice place. I'm not much of a beach bum since red-headed white boy and SUN don't mix, but I'd give it a go for the surf fishing. Sounds like you're going to start another rally... Just tell us when, book your site, start a thread, and I'll sign up.

Castaways looks like a nice place. I'm not much of a beach bum since red-headed white boy and SUN don't mix, but I'd give it a go for the surf fishing. Sounds like you're going to start another rally... Just tell us when, book your site, start a thread, and I'll sign up.
I was thinking about a rally/gathering there. It is a bit pricey during the summer though. The Island Oasis area looks like a great place for everyone to get together. The Club Castaways area is very nice..but you pay for the "extras". Since I was there in the off-season, can't really comment on what the "extras" are 
Right now they are only taking 7 days (or more) reservations for next year. Once they start taking weekend reservations...I'll see what I can do

If I saw it correctly, the gals were running in relay, but for our gathering, the gals could hold the poker and the guys could hold the roll.
