UPDATE:Abby has been home for about an hour, she's fairly comfortable. The Vet called me at work & said she was bouncing off the walls & ready to go home. Sooooo...I took off work an hour early & went to get her. She was happy as a lrk all the way home, altho she is clingy & whiny now...but I planned to dedicate my time soley to her needs. I got her comfortable & she is strating to doze right now. She will be on pain pills for a week & needs stitches out in 10 days. I have the stones & they are UGLY! I will post a picture of them below
.

***********
UPDATE: She had her surgery today...the VEt called to say that there were 2 stones, larger than a pea, smaller than a marble...rough on the edges, but the lining of her bladder is in excellent condition.
She'll be home tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughts & prayers!!

**************

Some of you may remember Abby, she's had problems with bladder infections/stones for awhile & she will have surgery for the bladder stones on Wednesday. Her ultrasound this week showed that they had grown larger in the past 30 days, rather than dissolving.
She'll have to spend the night with the Vet & I can pick her up Thursday when I head home from work...I'll have 3 days off to be home with her next weekend.

Would appreciate it if you'd keep her in your thoughts.

Hey, Sue, sorry to hear about Abby's bladder troubles. I had a male cat who had stones and had 3 surgeries for it. He lived another 4 years and did great. We eventually lost him to an unrelated cancer at age 13. My thoughts and prayers will be going out to you and Abby for a successful surgery. I know how trying this can be ... and how scary! Keep your chin up. (See you on 2Peas - ).
