My Good Sam emergency road service is up for renewal next month and while I don't have any qualms with them I'd like to explore other options by asking RV.Net members for their input. I know this has been talked about at times here on the Forum but I'd like to reopen the subject by focusing on two areas: Cost per year and level of satisfaction. Thanks...

Mine is up next month as well. I also have Good Sam although I currently don't have a RV right now I will probably go ahead and renew with them again.

They cover my whole family and all my cars and other trailers. I’ve used them quite a bit and they have always came through for me.

What is it? 99.00 for renewal.

You can save a few bucks by switching over to Camping Worlds Emergency Roadside service. Although they are the one and same if you switch over to them you are considered a new member and get the introductory price of 79.95

I had Camping Worlds Emergency Road side service before and when I had to call them, they answered the phone Good Sam. They are the same thing

I should note that you don't have to be a Camping World member to get the ERS

No experience with Good Sam. I've had Coach Net for a couple of years. I needed to call them last week for the first time - hydraulic line blew on our coach. They answered the phone in 15 seconds and asked if I was in a safe location.... then they took my membership data (from a card I carry) and a problem description. I was talking to an RV Technician within 30 seconds who diagnosed the problem and said he would arrange for a tow to the nearest facility. 5 min later he called back and said the tow truck would be there in 15 min to tow us to a service center about 70 miles away. Huge tow truck arrived in 12 min and knew exactly how to tow us... I called the service center while enroute and they were expecting us as Coach Net had cleared the way for us. I had no papers to sign, no additional information was needed by the tow driver or the service center. Coach Net really came through for us with excellent service the one time I've needed them. I've renewed for 3 years again....

I had Good Sam RS -- had two incidents with less than stellar service.
I switched to Coach Net and have been very pleased.

Have been a member of Coach Net for close to 10 years and have used their service many times with nothing but praise for their service. I just renewed for 3 more years.
Funny someone mentioned Camping World, as their own RV sales department provides CWCare, which is provided by Coach Net and recommends Coach Net for all their customers. That to me, speaks volumes of their thought on who is the best.

Looks like Coach Net is getting good marks. Can anyone let me know how much it costs per year? I believe Good Sam is up to $109.50 now. Thanks again....

EDIT: I checked their website and it gives no indication as to cost. However, it looks like you have to be a member of an RV club in order to join.

Texan, Camping World has Camping World Road Care which is the same as Good Sam. Ive had both and both answer the phone Good Sam

I'm not saying that they don't have another that their sales dept uses.

If you are a camping world member switch over to Camping World ERS for 79.95 Same as Good Sam
