We stayed at Cooper Creek CG when we did the Branson thing just before Memorial Day. Loved the CG, right on the lake, quiet, and handy to attraction.

Does this campground have full hook up sites located so you can see the lake? Is it far from all the hoopla they says goes on in town? I prefer the country setting but the DH would also like to see some of the things offered in town site seeing shows etc....

ABC is an RV parking lot...not a campground. And they are stacked in like cord wood.

Compton Ridge is a much nicer choice...and you can even have a campfire if you want.

I lived in my 5ver at Taneycomo Lake Front Resort for a year and ahalf while I went to nursing school. It is across the lake from the Landing, but north alittle. You have Lake Front, a swimming pool, really nice showers, laundry facility.
It's a quick and easy trip into downtown, maybe 5 minutes. And if you ask, they will tell you how to get around Branson the back way without to much of the major traffic.

They are super nice people. I moved after nursing school, so tell them Peg is a real nurse now!!! and said HI!
