We are considering checking out their parks in Texas over the winter. Anyone care to comment on them ????
What temps should we expect in say Jan-Feb-Mar ????
Thanks

We spent December at Medina Lake preserve. It was beautiful, however, we couldn't use our boat for fishing. The winds were causing white-caps on the lake. It WAS fun watching all the deer. The staff are wonderful.

Temperatures will vary by location of park. The panhandle is MUCH different than the Valley, or Coastal Plain. I haven't stopped there but I have heard people say the Thousand Trails in Conroe is nice.

2blackdogs, our Tex base in just a few minutes from TT Texoma, and I would love to visit with you when you come thru, BUT , I ainta gonna be here in those cold azz months. Snow, sleet, rain, hail, wind, did I mention snow , sleet, hail?

Lake Tawakoni east of Dallas, is a little better, Lake Waco, is even better, Lake Medina would be mild, and the others no problem, BUT, bring your coats to NTex.
