It will soon be time to begin voting on the nominated sites for B-6. If there are any further nominations, now is the time to let us all know. Michael (Ibthebest) who handled the voting process last year is unable to step in within the time limits to do it again this year. Bob Kelley (Sox Fax) has volunteered to take over for Michael. If there are any objections, now is the time to speak up. Otherwise we will soon be receiving more information regarding time limits, regulations, and voting instructions.

No interest from the second place we visited. Sorry all that might have been interested in the DC area.

Bob & Leslie,
Sorry you DC sites didn't work out. Thanks for looking at them, though, and HUGE thanks for volunteering to run the Survey Monkey!

OK All... We are ready to select the site for the next rally.
But first I'd like to explain how the voting will be done. The survey has 6 questions. The first 3 are to gather information on the voter and the last 3 to record your vote.
The winner will be selected by simple majority. If no selection receives a majority (more than 50%) the votes will be tallied using the instant run off voting method where the site receiving the lowest vote total will be discarded and the second choice of those voters will be distributed among the 2 remaining choices. If there is not a second choice on that ballot then no redistribution will be done for that ballot.
I didn't mean to drag the explanation out but as a former resident of South Florida I feel the need to explain voting in too great a detail since many of my neighbors didn't get it.
The polls are open, the the voting begin. (one vote per rig please, not per person). The polls will close on Sunday September 21 and midnight EDT.

A quick question about each of the proposed destinations:
Do any of these parks have any restrictions about the AGE of the vehicle??
We DO have at least three orphan/dinosaurs among us.

John, I don't know about the other two sites, but there is no problem with the age of the units at our Ohio site. I just checked with them and they asked me why I would ask such a question so I blamed it on you. I do realize that there are campgrounds with restrictions such as that, but not here in the Western Reserve.
