The results are in....
..... and the winner is: Indian Creek Camping Resort, Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH

There were a total of 43 votes.

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, MO 15 votes (34.9%)
Indian Creek Camping Resort, Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH 21 votes (48.8%)
Follow The River Resort, Markland (Florence), IN 7 votes (15.3%)

Since no choice had the majority the run off method had to be used. Follow The River Resort received the fewest votes and was dropped. The second choice of those voters were used. 4 selected Cottonwoods RV Park, 2 selected Indian Creek Camping Resort and 1 would not attend any other location. After the distribution of second choice votes the totals were:

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, MO 19 votes (45.2%)
Indian Creek Camping Resort, Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH 23 votes (54.8%)

See you at Indian Creek Camping Resort in May!

We have reserved 41 sites for the rally, more are available across the road so we can handle any number of attendees. We'll be in touch.

Bob, excellent job on taking care of the voting process.

Nick, congratulations on your site getting picked.

Thanks to the others who spent time selecting a site to nominate.

Hope to see everyone in Geneva next May.

According to the survey there are 7 voters that would not attend at the chosen site in OH, likewise 7 would not attend at the IN site and 11 would not attend at the MO site.

More details that you may or may not want to know.

Thanks for handling the voting process, Sox Fan.

I may have been one of those who said they wouldn't attend Indian Creek, but knowing I had so much fun at B5 (and had to cancel my trip to Moab) I am now looking forward to attending B6 in Ohio.

Let's see, that's only 8 months away!

Any of the choices would have worked out for us. Geneva on the Lake will allow us to visit our favorite restaurant, Nick's Kitchen in Huntington, IN for the third straight year on the way and give us time to go to Washington DC before returning west again for the Indy 500. What a rut. I guess we may have to forgo the Kentucky Bourbon trail tour for another year. That's probably what we would have done if the Indiana site were chosen.

Good work guys. Jan and I are ready to sign up. When is the sign up process going to start? We are heading down to Disney World in a few weeks and don"t want to miss it while on the road.
