Bob drove several hundred miles to come and pick up my Apex 8 for warranty work. They also sent some nice upgraded parts to replace faulty stuff. Good stuff!

Yeah, and in addition to all that, we also have really neato ray guns, so watch your step.
I think I like the X-Ray glasses the best though.

Ok, I'll admit I'm kidding on selling my Outfitter. Won't do that. Won't buy "the other brand" either. Happy with what I have.

.....but I sure would like a Captain Crunch whistle.....

I suppose you other Outfitter owners got one of those too?

C'mon now Mr. Wizard ... a Captain Crunch whistle?? Captain Crunch is a chump! We're talking Captain Midnight and the Space Cadets' Secret Squadron Decoder, or Flash Gordon's Flash Blast Ray gun, or at least something out of a vintage Cracker Jack box. Captain Crunch ... jeeze!

Hey, there was a time, long ago, when I could use my Captain Crunch whistle to "play" with the telephone company's trunking circuits. It had just the right two frequencies to fool the equipment. So you could make long distance calls..... What's the statute of limitations again???

So, like I said, Captain Crunch rocks! Any chance of my borrowing that whistle?

I've been looking at both Outfitter and Hallmark truck campers closely, as they both seem like great campers and companies. However, for various reasons I prefer using email to the phone, and whenever I send email to Hallmark, I get an immediate reply, usually with detailed information. When I send Outfitter email, usually I get a reply, sometimes not.

For example, I recently asked Hallmark about bolting the camper to my truck. Matt at Hallmark (the owner?) replied with his recommendations and information on how they would accomplish the task. Becky (the secretary?) from Outfitter eventually replied with "yes we can do that."

Replying to email inquiries should be an important part of customer service, shouldn't it?
