No they are designed to support the awning only and a few lights. You might get away with a small chilled but in time it would break. Nice idea but it just would not hold up. ( hows that Moderator ) Oh what the heck go ahead and do it, it will give your wife another reason to say, I TOLD YOU SO.

I believe he realizes it is all in fun. And no one is making fun of him. We are laughing with him, not at him. At least I hope he is not that thin skined. He lives here. So I KNOW he can take some good intentioned ribbing.
Most folkes in NC have a pretty good sense of humor.

UURRGE! UUMMPH!!! AARRGGHHH!!!! GROAAANN!!!

(Pushing a sense of humor LAdams way...)

Come on, the OP knows we are just funnin' him. I'm sure his original post was just tongue-in-cheek and not serious also.

It's certainly wishful thinking and it would sure be REALLY,REALLY nice to hang a hammock from our awnings (with a good supply of BEER, of course), but we all know that it isn't a reality.

It may be OK with him but it's not OK with me... There are entirely too many mean spirited or sarcastic comments in my and other forums within the RV.NET forum group...

I'll let this go because the OP says it's OK, but I want ALL OF YOU to know I WILL NOT tolerate this type of attitude in my forums if it is intended in a sarcastic, mean spirited, personal attack or flaming type of context...
