I recently stopped at a truck stop in Troutdale Oregon to fill up on Propane, a couple pulled in behind me,they walked up and started looking at my 1984 Sundancer, write away the guy starts asking me how much does it cost me to keep >That Thing< on the road with all the repairs I must have to do to keep it running. I thought for a minute and said, last month I spent 20 bucks on a oil and filter change. Now its my tern----
I asked him what year Mini he was driving,he said 2006,I said WOW that new, and it has Delaminated that bad already?I hope that's not oil dripping out of your V-10,and man I hope that's not sewer stuff dripping all over the road.
I paid for the propane, as I was driving away I looked in my mirror and saw the Gentleman looking at that sewer stuff dripping on the parking lot.
This made my day and I hope you-all got a grin on your face.
Tom from Portland

Better answer might have been, "A whole lot less than your monthly payment on THAT THING!!" (while pointing to his leaking rig)...

I love that "PAID FOR" look our 1998 Newmar Mountainaire FW has. People are shocked when they ask what year model it is and I tell them. They can't believe it's 10 yrs. old. Looks good, works good, all the kinks worked out and minimal upkeep. We did some upgrades, and it's good to go and NO PMTS.! Now if the house will ever sell, the truck will be ours too..We have good friends that have been full timing for a bit over a year and are on their 2nd Class A but started out with a Class C. Pmts., pmts., pmts. and he's always doing something to it.

People are shocked when we tell them we only have 5 more years of payments and it will all be ours.

It was replaced by easy credit and low self esteem, your only value is in what you "own".
