Check out a city park in Gadston Al. call Noccoulla. It has a 98' waterfall, get hiking trail. The sites are treed shade and some are large. Many are full hookups and the price are about $21. Ask for the sites in the back of CG. Gadston is about 60 miles north on I59. It is the nicest you will fine.

The weather always cooperates in Alabama in Sept. If you want hot it will be very hot. If you want humid it will be humid (90%). And don't forget about the rain,it will rain when you do not want it to. (HaHa!)
Anyway you will enjoy Bham South. You may want to make an afternoon trip over to Oak Mountain State Park its only a few miles away.
