I have 2004 Keystone Cougar 276. We have had trouble with blow outs with our tires. We have 205/75/15 load range c. Does anyone know if you can get this size tire in a load range d?

Take some measurements and really consider hard changing to LT235R16 load range D tires.

A 4 year old trailer may have 5 year old ties (or older), average life of a trailer tire is 5 years. Also some manufactures were using tires that were close if not under rated for the trailer.
Weight the trailer packed as you would for a qweek long trip, and then determine what rating you need. (total trailer weight divided by 4, then move up at least one rating on tire if you are close to max.)
Also keep away from tires made in China.

We have not measured but we have looked and it does not look like 16's will work. We are basing that on the fact it looks like the ones we have on there have hit the fender wall. We are planning a trip to tetons, yellowstone and glacier next summer from alabama. We want to make sure we have the best tires on before we leave.

Yes you can change to Ds(65psi) from Cs (50psi) and keep the same wheels, but you can't put Es (80psi) on those wheels. I agree with determining your needs then getting that, but disagree with above quote.
First, you have a fifth wheel not a fourth wheel, so your actual need to support the GVWR of your trailer with a 20% pin wt is to divide by 5. Next, I would use the GVWR not your usual camping wt in case you take more stuff or carry more in your tanks some time.
IMO if your tires have a load rating sufficient to carry the axle wt of the trailer at GVWR you are ok. If you have a flat, the remaining tire on that side still holds up the trailer, so this shows there is already plenty of margin in those tire load ratings. Buying more margin to feel better is spending money for feelings not needs. Some people change to truck tires so they can go faster, which may be a need depending where they travel and how often at those speeds.
You do most to not have trailer tire blow-outs by keeping to the speed rating for the tires (65mph) instead of greater highway speeds set for cars, which will keep the trailer tires from overheating. Assumes tires at their proper psi.

Maxxis makes a 225/75R15 load range D. It is 1" larger in diameter than a 205 and has a max load of 2540# each. From the feedback on here, they're pretty good, for an ST tire.
Here's their link:

There are a few things you should do to reduce ST tire failure. Keep ST tires inflated to sidewall maximum. This is so important the Carlisle Tire Warrantysays the warranty is voided if their ST tires are operated at less than maximum pressure.
All ST tires have a maximum speed rating of 65 MPH!
If you wish to upgrade to heavier ST tires, they are available: 15" load range G and H ST tires. Naturally this means you must buy adequate rims for the tires to realize any benefit from upgrading, and insure you do not create another, larger problem.

I had five Chinese tire failures before I went with LT225/75R/16E rated B F Goodrich Commercial TA's. If I did not go to a 16 I would try to fit 15 inch Maxxis in load range E. Even if I had to do some axle modifications to do so. They seam to be the best 15 inch tire maker.
