Can someone tell me if there is a link that publishes gas prices in Canadian Rockies area? I'm finding articles on how tourism is affected, but no specific prices.

No, I'm not starting another thread on high gas prices --- just want to figure upcoming trip costs.

Thanks...

We were down there a couple of weeks ago and diesel was in the mid $5 range. It gets more expensive as you go north, with a high of $6.27 in norther BC, and back down to the mid $5's in Alaska.
Safe trip,

if you need gas or diesel on the road to Jasper, you will pay anything-you are the captive audience for that ONE gas station!! Don't even ask how much, you will only cry! Even years ago, it was outrageous! All we could do was laugh and continue our trip to Jasper.Dona

Try this www.gasbuddycanada.com Just for your calculations there is 3.78 liters in a U.S. gallon. You are better off topping up your tank at Hinton or Canmore. Just a thought for what its worth
One other thing most Shell Cardlocks (in Alberta anyway) are Flying J`s

I just paid $1.46/liter in Cochane, just West of Calgary on 1. Bee sure to fill up BEFORE you get to the banff/Jasper area. BTW, that if $5.50/gallon. Gas was $1.36 canadian/liter.

I just passed through Canmore yesterday and the Esso next to the highway had 136.9
a litre on the sign. In Calgary it was the same but you get 3.5 cents off at the pump and if you have an Esso swipe key you get 5 cents off. Don't ask what BC charges for gas after that bloody gov. put a green tax on it on July 1st. If you use diesel, then look for a Flying J. They are cheaper.
