We will be in Anchorage in early August and one of the things we are doing while there is taking the train down to Seward. We need a place to board our dog for two nights. Does anyone know of a place in or near Anchorage?
You might look up VCA Veterinary Hospitals. We use the East Side VCA on Boniface for our vet services and they are great with the animals. I know they have boarding also, but don't know how much. They also give a military discount if you can qualify for that.

Another VCA facility, Alaska Pet Care on Lake Otis near Tudor Road boards pets. I think they charged my friend $20 per day to board her beagle last summer.
