Can anyone recommend where to buy RV accessories on-line in Canada.
I have not had much success ordering stuff from the USA using UPS. They always want brokerage fees etc.. at the door. Seems to add 20-40% on to the cost of items. USPS works fine but places like Camping World want to use UPS for tracking purposes.
Thanks

rv dealers carry most of the stuff we need or want for the trailer. I have been to Camping World in Tucson, not as large as I had envisioned, prices were ok. We buy alot from vendors in Quartzsite over the winter..since we are in Arizona for 5 months..I have not ordered anything rv- online-yet! Are you heading to the states? Is there anything I could bring you back in the spring, we are not that far from you-near Superburger off Hwy 89 and 10 south..Dona

i always look at Wal-mart, our selection is very small here in Canada, or at least in Ontario..they really have only about a 6' section, basic(cheap sewer hoses and couplers) and maybe one brand of chemicals. Nothing really exciting to look at..I wish! Dona

Dealers have outrageous mark up most of the time. Shopping around is best. See if there is a local rv parts shop. These small guys can order what you want usually at far less markup since there is no big showroom or multi million dollar inventory. We mostly buy at camping world on US trips because of selection but dont order on line for the reasons you mention (shipping, broker and return costs).

UPS are rip off artists, their charges change everything and I refuse to use them. I am in Regina and I get most everything from a local dealer and so far their prices have been as good as anywhere else. Our MH is 1982 vintage and originally cam with mirrors on a U shaped arm with a separate wide angle lens. Problem was that they vibrated so much that it was difficult to see clearly. I bought new mirrors w wide angle and I got them for around $60 each which I thought was decent. Took only a couple days to order them in so that was not an issue. When I drove over the AC cover came off and landed up in the ditch in a million pieces (saw it when I cam out of the bldg)

In any case I don't like or use UPS for anything

If not Walmart or Canadian Tire make a list and make a day trip over the border to Camping World.

Gary and Maureen, you are close to Cookstown, rv warehouse has a big new facility with lots of supplies and they have an online catalog.
rvwarehouse in Cookstown
Got this tip from another rv'er over in Fergus, he was just there this past weekend. He said when you go online, click on the parts dept. then for the catalog. Hope this helps..If we had a Camping World near the border, we could go, but, woe is us-we don't..On our way to Arizona, they just built a new one in Missouri, will have to try it out..usually stop in ElPaso or Tucson. They do have alot of good "stuff". Dona

RV stuff always almost always more up north. Sometimes not so be sure to check what you are buying. UPS is the challenge for shipping from the U.S. as they charge a brokerage fee. If you are buying smaller stuff see if they will ship USPS postal. Then it is cheaper and no extra fees. I have bought many rv items and ebay stuff and had shipped
by them. Takes a bit longer but if not in a hurry costs stay low. The other option is to go on a holiday south of the border and take your wish list and shop while you are there.
