Went out to get ready for a camping trip and the rocker switch didn't produce any results, not in or out. So I took off the kick panel on the sofa to access the motor and used a voltage tester to see if I was getting any power to the motor, answer was no. Moved to the switch, no power. Checked the fuse, it was fine. Went outside and crawled under to where all the wiring runs along the axle, no power. I'm far from handy when it comes to electrical problems. I had the trailer plugged in, every single other thing works except the slide out. Did I miss something? Could the wiring to the slide out some how have got disconnected to the breaker box? Any ideas? Thanks.
You can't take the Fisherman out of this Camper wrote: It will not have a typical small plug in fuse. Look for a circuit breaker. It should look like: this
Hmmmm.... didn't see any thing like that on the panel, but I'll look again when I get home, thanks.
It won't be on the panel either... try to follow the cables coming from the battery and going to the slide motor. Once you find it, try connecting the two posts with a jumper and then operating the switch. If it's the breaker it may need to be replaced. Not all of them are resettable.
