We are heading to the Mount Rushmore area next Wdnesday for 2 nights. The main reason for our visit is to see Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse. What is the most convenient place to stay? We don't need full hook ups and are travelling in a 25' travel trailer. Thanks for any suggestions.

We were just there last week and stayed at Rush-No-More 4 miles southeast of Sturgis.

We were very pleased with this park plus it is a Pass Port America park.

I'd really like to get the word out to some of you people: Rafter J is not the only campground in South Dakota, although one would never know that from reading this forum.

Ditto. Very nice park and facilities. Stayed there 5 days about 3 weeks ago. About 5 miles from Mt. Rushmore and 8 miles from Crazy Horse. Pretty centrally located to all other attractions.
