Congrats! Trust me you'll love the upgrade. We camped with a PUP for almost all our lives and once we moved up to the Roo, we loved it. We still get to hear the rain the way we like it and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Have a great trip!

We are going tomorrow to pick up our new 2009 KZ Coyote 23CR and say goodbye to our old friend 2001 Coleman Sante Fe Pop-up. Pray we have a good process and good times with our new addition and hope someone enjoys our old friend whom looks just as good as the day we bought her. Room and cranking was an issue with our move up.

Congrats to all on their move up to hard sided trailers. We decided to move up when we had issues with our crank up on our pop-up not engaging at the top. Nothing worse than cranking the top up and having it come back down. Took it back to the dealer a number of times, but it didn't seem to stay fixed. We were camping with friends back in June. They were setting up their popup and encountered the "Won't stay up" issue. They are looking.

It's 3am. I am at camp not just a little bit from the house. But still our first official weekend. I woke up cause I think my mind was too excited to sleep good. One day is all so far really, and we're very happy owners. My poor wife is sleeping alone in back with a pile of body pillows , but the intersting thing is she hasn't sleep good since she got pregnant but she's zzzzing right now! fresh air! My son's zzzzzzzing and mumbling in his sleep in the front with me, it was cool how I could quietly get up and go over to the dinette and by soft light play solitaire hoping to get to sleep again. Of course the I thought I'll just sign on the wifi here and brag that I'm out at camp in case someone didn't get to go this week. I look around the roo, and we haven't done any real mods yet, just got it a few days ago, and think this is really going to be fun. we loved popupping so much that even though we could afford lots bigger, we swore we'd just always be pop upers. then we saw htt's. here we are. shoot, we don't even have the excuse that we had to crank up our popup cause it had electric lift and a bath and a slideout too,, but there's something about htt's. maybe it's like popups, you either 'get it' or you don't, you either 'love it' or you 'hate it'

This is the life. Can't wait for the fall camping too. There's been some posts lately really tearing HTTs apart (leaks or whatever) and it makes me go hmm. Cause I sure see lots more people going I love my hybrid. I know nothing is perfect and we will have an oops, something our own mistake, an oops that is some flaw but I sort of am the kind that has faith if you're nice and give someone an honest open minded chance, they'll work with you to make the flaw right and make you happy that you stuck with them. Maybe it's that silly thing about negative feelins begat negative feelings. I like positive comments way more than negative. Tell the story if it happened negatively, tell it a couple of times, but then if they fix it, be sure to give them kudos. And if you can't let go of a bad thing that happened many years ago, don't try to make other people feel bad for wanting that same thing you had . Just because my new Highland a year or so ago had so many oops that it came under the lemon law and we got rid of it altogether and bought a Chevrolet then, we would never even think that ALL highlanders were rotten or discourage anyone from getting one , or even today, we didn't get all bitter. Heck we bought a new brand smelling new tacoma now to boot. This worked; it has made me sleepy again.. I'm off to crawl into the sheets with the kiddo after one last look at my wife with the tummy padding (aka Our Daughter inside)

Happy weekend guys and gals oh and i will get picture and info if possible on that 232 tomorrow but I know it's length closed up is real closed to ours and not 30' , that deck isn't huge and it doesn't even stick out around the bed when it's pulled out. Those people in one camped near us have martini glasses on their awning- they might turn out to be great friends ROFL!

Wahoome I was wondering since you already had a HTT and traded to another HTT, was it to get more size or just a different layout or what? Spend a while in one , any one, and I can how you could start to want to change the way this goes or that goes maybe.

I hear of a lot of tents going to pups, the pups to bigger pups, the big pups to hybrids then usually hybrids to tt or 5 , or they give up for a whilebecause they have too many kids to put through college ROFL and then return to camping of some sort. we alwas run into people like that at rv shows.

Congratulations! We have done the same thing, from a Coleman Utah (a great PUP) to a 19 ROO which we had some bumps, but all worked out and just now got a great deal on a 21SS ROO (Even More Room!) which we are going to pick up this coming Friday (the 18th)!! Can't wait to use! Enjoy and have fun....here's wishing you the best with it!

Just brought it home today. We went with the CR 23 Coyote by KZ because of the great floor plan. A nice size room in the back for the kids and 2 places to hook up tvs. The bathroom and the larger tub for the kids so we don't have to drag them to the bath house all the time.

Welcome.

Take a pad of paper and pencil for making note of all the things you will want to add to the new camper. Most of thje stuff from the PUP will work in the HTT, but there is a whole bunch of new stuff you will need.

If your first trip out is near a Super WalMart or a Camping World...all the better.

Enjoy
